DESCRIPTION:Newark Festival is a vibrant and diverse spread of music\, art\
 , food and family entertainment filling the streets and venues of Newark t
 own centre.\n\nBoth the Major Oak Chorus and our quartet Oakie Dokie will 
 be performing at the festival on Friday August 25th-&nbsp\; Major Oak at 1
 1:00 am and Oakie Dokie at 1:00 pm and also at 3:00pm.&nbsp\;\n\nThe festi
 val kicks off on Friday 25th August with a family focused day of free even
 ts including a main stage in the Market Place with street performers\, int
 eractive workshops and Samba parades. Saturday sees a free entry multi gen
 re music festival over multiple stages in local town centre venues with st
 reet art\, food and entertainment galore throughout the town. On Sunday ev
 ening enjoy an intimate concert in the spectacular setting of Newark Castl
 e grounds. Bank Holiday Monday\, also in Newark Castle grounds\, sees more
  free family entertainment including the annual Brass Band Explosion conce
 rt. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale at Newar
