Mr Pete Dowling
We are pleased to announce that our new Music Director is our own Mr Pete Dowling.
Pete joined the Major Oak Chorus in 2006 at one of our first singing courses.
This will be Pete's first formal directing post but he has been informally directing public performances with both the main chorus and our mini chorus the 'MOCtet.' Pete has been trained by the British Association (B.A.B.S.) and has attended the prestigous "Harmony College" directing stream.
Pete also sings Lead in one of our quartets, the Okie Dokies.
His aim is quite simply to "make us better" We are looking forward to this next chapter o
f the Major Oak Chorus story with excitement and enthusiasm!
